Lompoc Museum will honor our country’s World War I veterans with a full afternoon of events this Veterans Day. This is the final scheduled event in our two years of programming dedicated to honoring the 100th Anniversary of the end of World War I. The day’s events include an optional catered lunch, the presentation of a unique WWI artifact, free film screening of the award-winning WWI documentary directed by Peter Jackson, “They Shall Not Grow Old”, and a last chance to view the special exhibit, “Lompoc Goes to War”. The catered lunch is $20 per person and requires advance reservations and payment by November 8. Lunch starts at Noon. The presentation of the WWI artifact and free screening of film starts at 2 pm. The museum will open from 4 - 5 pm for a last look at the special exhibit, "Lompoc Goes to War".
