Description
Our volunteer advocates provide a voice for abused and neglected children. Our Volunteers come from all walks of life, with a variety of backgrounds and interests, and many are employed full-time.
Despite serving more children than ever, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Santa Barbara County has children who are waiting, simply because we do not have enough volunteers to serve them. Judges and lawyers have requested that CASA serve these children. Until we have more volunteers committed to advocating for them, they are on our priority wait list.
Countywide, over 100 abused and neglected children from ages newborn to eighteen are on CASA's priority wait list. You can be the difference. Help us end the wait by becoming a volunteer advocate today!
The tragedy of abuse is a reality in our community. Abused and neglected children are everyone's responsibility. We invite you to be a part of the solution. Change the trajectory of a child's life, giving that child a priceless gift - an hour per week of your time.
