The Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Youth Leadership Lompoc Valley invites the community to meet and greet the Class of 2023- 2024 at a pizza luncheon on Thursday, October 19^th at Mi Amore’s Pizza & Pasta located at 1321 North H Street in Lompoc. Check-in begins at 11:15 am.

Individuals or businesses are encouraged to sponsor a student’s lunch as well as their own and get to know the future leaders of the Lompoc Valley. YLLV chooses students from three local Lompoc Valley high schools through a qualification process that includes an application and interview under the direction of the Board of Trustees of the Youth Leadership Lompoc Valley Program. 

YLLV students participate in full-day events called “Topic Days” centered on an industry or theme within the Lompoc Valley. Topics usually include law enforcement, military, aerospace, education, business and economics, quality of life and health and human services. Local leaders in the topic fields work with students providing hands-on experiences and participation in community activities. Students are exposed to various careers while participating in community activities. At the end of the program year, the Class will organize a class project to help support a local non-profit, thereby beginning their investment to the Lompoc Valley community.

All meals are $16 Those who sponsor a student’s meal must attend the luncheon. Reservations and payments are required by Monday, October 16^th and can be done online through the Event Calendar at www.Lompoc.com .
